At Envision, we nurture education by offering teaching methods that excite both right and left brain learners. Through indoor and outdoor activities, we utilize tactile, kinesthetic, and creative approaches to facilitate cognitive and critical thinking. We give children a Voice in what they learn and a Choice in their elective activities — and we allow it to be fluid from one year to the next, as they grow and mature. This is an Organic Education, designed to meet them where they are and in the times they are in.

We cultivate independence with respect, accountability, work ethic, self-identity, self-worth, motivation, and gratitude for the Earth and its living beings.

We work to eliminate the stress, anxiety, and weighted judgments that can diminish individual strengths in traditional educational settings.

At Envision, core academics are woven into life skills. This is a place where kids apply what they learn — where Mathematics, Language Arts, Geography, and History are integrated with environmental education, biology, permaculture, chemistry, nutrition, building, design, alternative energy, arts, music, computer skills, and healthy emotional expression. We teach leadership, entrepreneurship, teamwork, animal and land stewardship, and the power of intention — alongside the life skills that build confident, capable human beings.

As parents, we have to admit that we don't always know what our children will want to do as adults. They are free-willed and free-thinking. So let's set them up with strong life skills and the confidence to know they have options — whatever direction they choose to go. Whether artist or engineer, farmer or doctor, our goal is to help every child feel empowered, appreciated, and ready to build a life they love.
